Neptune Township Emergency Services Training

OVERVIEW

The Neptune Township Office of Emergency Management has developed and maintains a hands-on training facility located at the township’s public works property off Heck Avenue. This facility, known as the Emergency Service Training Grounds (ESTG) and “Disaster Hill”, was created primarily for technical rescue, Urban Search & Rescue (USAR) and Hazardous Materials training.  However, site development also included training props and simulations for firefighters, law enforcement, public works and emergency medical services.

Being a new facility (started in 2020), the site has and will continue to evolve and improve in capability and training offerings. Additionally, our staff is also expected to grow and become fundamental and integral in the success of this site and overall program.
